We got tired of products that work for twenty minutes.

Virae started with a simple frustration: everything sold for bad breath is built to mask it. Mints wear off before the meeting ends. Mouthwash burns through everything in your mouth — including the bacteria protecting you — and the problem comes back harder. None of it touches the actual cause.

The cause, in most cases, is bacterial. Over 700 species live in your mouth. When odour-producing strains take over, no amount of brushing fixes it — because brushing doesn't decide what grows back. The bacteria do.

So we built around the bacteria.

Instead of inventing a formula from scratch, we licensed the two most-researched oral probiotic strains in the world: BLIS K12 and BLIS M18, developed by BLIS Technologies in New Zealand — a biotech company that has spent more than 20 years isolating and studying probiotic strains specifically for the mouth and throat. K12 traces back to research at the University of Otago, where microbiologists studied why some people's mouths stay naturally balanced.

We put both strains into one slow-dissolving lozenge — 6 billion CFU per dose — made in the Netherlands, vegan, with no alcohol, no artificial dyes, and nothing that works against the bacteria you're trying to build. You take it once, at night, after brushing. That's the whole routine.

What we promise

We won't tell you Virae works for everyone — no honest supplement company can. Bad breath that originates in the sinuses, stomach or elsewhere needs a different answer, and if that's you, we'll say so.
